Turn Signal Switch, Removing and Installing

Removing

• Remove Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM) → Steering Column Switch Module, Removing and Installing .

• Carefully release catches - arrows  -.
• Pull return spring with slip ring - 2  - with Steering Angle Sensor G85 - item 1  - off from steering column switch module (SCSM).

• Remove screws - arrows  -.
• Pull Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module J527 - item 2  - and Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch E22 - item 3  - off from steering column switch module (SCSM).
• Disengage Cruise Control Switch E45 - item 1  - from steering column switch module (SCSM).
• Remove bolt - 5  - and remove retaining bracket - 4  -.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.
• Install Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM) → Steering Column Switch Module, Removing and Installing .
