Turn Signal Switch, Removing and Installing
Removing
- Remove Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM) → Steering Column Switch Module, Removing and Installing .
NOTE:
- Steering must be in center position (wheels in straight ahead position) when removing and installing coil connector with slip ring.
- Carefully release catches - arrows -.
- Pull return spring with slip ring - 2 - with Steering Angle Sensor G85 - item 1 - off from steering column switch module (SCSM).

- Remove screws - arrows -.
- Pull Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module J527 - item 2 - and Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch E22 - item 3 - off from steering column switch module (SCSM).
- Disengage Cruise Control Switch E45 - item 1 - from steering column switch module (SCSM).
- Remove bolt - 5 - and remove retaining bracket - 4 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.
- Install Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM) → Steering Column Switch Module, Removing and Installing .
