Checking And Adjusting Conditions
- Tire pressure is OK.
- The diffusion lens must not be damaged or dirty.
- Reflectors and bulbs are OK.
- Vehicle load must be created.
Load: with a person or 75 kg on the driver seat in otherwise unloaded vehicle (curb weight).
The curb weight is the weight of the operational vehicle with completely full fuel tank (minimum 90 %), including the weight of all equipment carried in operation (for example spare wheel, tools, vehicle jack, fire extinguisher etc.).
If the fuel tank is not at least 90 % full enter the load here:
-- Read the fuel tank level on the fuel gauge. Determine the additional weight using the capacity table and place weight in the luggage compartment. Refer to CAPACITY TABLE .
- Vehicle must be rolled several meters or sprung forward and back several times so springs are seated.
- The vehicle and headlamp adjusting unit must stand on a level surface. Refer to Headlamp Adjusting Unit Operating Instructions.
- Vehicles and headlamp adjusting unit must be aligned.
Pay attention that the headlamp adjusting unit stands at a distance of 30 cm from the headlamp.
- The angle dimension must be adjusted.
Angle dimensions are located in "%" on the top of the headlamp. The headlamp must be adjusted to these dimensions. The percentage indicator is based on a 10 meter projection distance. At an angle dimension of 1.0%, for example, converts to 10 cm.
