Four-way lumbar support motors, removing and installing

NOTE:

On the drivers seat shown in the illustration, the four-way lumbar support height adjustment motor is on the left side and the four-way lumbar support motor is on the right side.

1 - Hook

2 - Four-way lumbar support release

3 - four-way lumbar support

4 - Retaining pins

5 - Idler pulley

6 - Rivets (4x)

7 - Four-way lumber support motors (Qty. 2)

Remove seat → Front power seats with memory, removing and installing .
Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
Remove backrest cover panel → Backrest cover, removing and installing .

Remove connector - 8 -.
Drill out rivets - 6 - (2x).
Remove motor on opposite side the same way.
Disengage release for four-way lumber support height adjuster - 9 - at hook - 1 -.

Disengage four-way lumbar support adjustment release - 2 - at retaining pins - 4 - and at relay pulley - 5 -.
Remove four-way lumbar support motors - 7 - (Qty. 2).
