CAUTION:
DO NOT overfill oil past the MAX mark on the oil dipstick. Damage to the Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) could result.
NOTE:
Always replace gaskets and seals.

- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
- Oil pan - upper section
- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
- Grid section
- Circlip
- Rubber tube
- Strainer
- Oil pump
- Removing, see OIL PUMP, REMOVING .
- If faulty, always replace whole pump
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
- Baffle plate
- Oil level sensor
- 35 Nm (26 ft lb)
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
- 60 Nm (44 ft lb) + additional 90°
- Apply sealant D 454 300 02 before inserting
- ALWAYS REPLACE BOLTS

- When assembling, make sure that dowel for ignition timing is correctly inserted in drive plate.
- Dowel should project 20 - 22 mm (0.78 to 0.86 in.) from drive plate
- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
- Rear sealing flange with oil seal
