Hid Headlamp, Removing And Installing

Removal

-- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

-- Turn the headlamp switch to "0".

-- Remove the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release locking slide -2- in direction of -arrow- and remove housing cover -1- from headlamp housing.

-- Disconnect electrical connector -1-.

-- Turn the locking ring -3- in direction of -arrow- and remove the HID bulb -2-.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Insert the new HID bulb into the housing without touching the bulb with bare hands.

Electrical connection must face downward.

-- Secure HID lamp with circlip.

-- Close the housing lid.

-- Press the housing cover on the headlamp housing and secure the housing cover with the lock washer. Pay attention that all four tabs engage securely.

-- Install the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
