Left HID Headlamp Ballast -J426- AND Right HID Headlamp Ballast -J427-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
WARNING:
Danger to life due to high voltage.
- Usage and safety information for gas discharge headlamps, refer to HID HEADLAMP USAGE AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . .
Removal
-- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
-- Turn the headlamp switch to "0".
-- Remove the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the screws -arrows- and remove the ballast -4- from headlamp housing.
-- Disconnect the adapter wire -2- and the connector -3- on the ballast.
-- Remove the ballast.
Installation
- Tightening specifications, refer to HID HEADLAMPS OVERVIEW .
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
-- Check the seal -1- between the ballast and headlamp housing for damage.
-- Install the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
