Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

NOTE:

To avoid imbalance, driveshaft and driveshaft flange must be installed on front final drive so that factory markings or markings applied later on driveshaft CV joint -arrow A- and driveshaft flange at front final drive -arrow B- align.

Always replace driveshaft bolts.

If a new driveshaft is installed and factory marking on driveshaft flange at front final drive is no longer visible, install driveshaft in any position. If droning noises occur when driving, remove front driveshaft from flange at front final drive, rotate one hole relative to flange and attach again.

If droning sounds can still be heard, front driveshaft can be removed from front final drive, rotated one hole and attached again a maximum of 5 times.

-- If equipped, fasten right heat shield to front final drive with locking fluidD 154 100 A1 -arrows-.
