Removal

WARNING:

Wear protective gloves.

NOTE:

To protect the paint in the area around the mirror housing, tape it off with a soft cloth.

-- Press mirror glass -1- out of mirror adjusting unit -arrow- using Pry Lever80-200.

-- Disconnect electrical connectors -1 to 3- on back side of mirror.

-- Remove the screws -1, 2 and 4-.

-- Pull housing -3- slightly away from cover -6- -arrow A- until retaining tabs -5- on cover are visible.

-- Remove housing upward in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Disconnect the connector from the side turn signal and the connector from the lane change assistance warning lamp inside the exterior mirror (if equipped).

-- Remove screws -1, 2, 3, 5-.

-- Remove the side turn signal housing -6- from the exterior mirror housing -4- in direction of -arrow-.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Entire side turn signal in exterior mirror must be replaced if LED is faulty.

-- Attach mirror glass at mirror adjusting unit and press on mirror glass.

NOTE:

Only press on the center of the mirror.
