Left HID Headlamp Control Module -J343- AND Right HID Headlamp Control Module -J344-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Removal

-- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

-- Turn the headlamp switch to "0".

-- Remove the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release locking slide -2- in direction of -arrow- and remove housing cover -1- from headlamp housing.

-- Remove screws -arrows- and remove high-intensity gas discharge lamp control module -1- from headlamp housing.

Installation

Tightening specifications, refer to HID HEADLAMPS OVERVIEW .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Check seal between High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module and headlamp housing.

-- Close the housing lid.

-- Press the housing cover on the headlamp housing and secure the housing cover with the lock washer. Pay attention that all four tabs engage securely.

-- Install the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Adjust headlamps after Installation, refer to HEADLAMPS, ADJUSTING .
