Headlamp Range Control Module -J431-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

-- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding"  or "Guided Functions"  Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removal

-- Remove driver's side upper instrument panel cover, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL COVERS ON DRIVER SIDE OVERVIEW .

-- Press retaining clip -1- to side in direction of -arrow- and remove Headlamp Range Control Module -J431- item -2- from retaining frame.

-- Disconnect electrical connector -3-.

-- To disconnect electrical connector, press catch -1-, turn retaining bracket in direction of -arrow- and remove connector.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install driver's side upper instrument panel cover, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL COVERS ON DRIVER SIDE OVERVIEW .
