- Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS5051A
- Diagnostic Cable VAS5051/5A
- During a test drive, the testing and measuring equipment must always be secured on the back seat.
- These devices may be operated only by a passenger during a test drive.
-- Connect VAS5051/5A to Data Link Connector (DLC).
-- Turn on VAS5051A -arrow-.
The tester is operational when it displays a picture of a car.
-- Turn on ignition.
If control modules or electric/electronic components were replaced, component adaptation should generally be carried out in "Guided Fault Finding ".
-- Touch Guided Fault Finding .
-- Select in succession:
- Brand
- Type
- Model year
- Version
- Engine Code
-- Confirm data entered.
Wait until tester has checked all control modules in vehicle.
-- Press the go to button and select "function/component selection".
Then
