Bulb for high beam, replacing

Removing 

• Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
• Turn light switch into "0" position.

Left headlamp - vehicles with 6-cyl. Engine:

• Remove reservoir for power steering.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 6-cyl. Gasoline engine:

• Remove air filter housing.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 4.2l MPI engine:

• Remove air filter housing.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 4.2l FSI engine:

• Remove air filter housing.

All:

• Release securing guides - arrows  - and remove headlamp housing cover.

• Disconnect harness connector - 1  - at high beam bulb.
• Disengage wire clamp - 3  - and - 4  - and remove bulb - 2  - from housing.

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Insert new bulb into housing, do not touch glass cone with bare hands.
• Secure bulb using wire clamp.
• Re-connect harness connector and close housing cover.
