Headlamp Range Control Module J431, removing and installing

Component location: Behind glove compartment at carrier for instrument panel.

Removing 

• If control module is replaced, select "Guided Functions" of respective control module in.
• Remove glove compartment → 68 - Interior Equipment Removal And Installation .

• Press retaining clip - 2  - aside - arrow A  - and pull Headlamp Range Control Module J431 - 1  - out of retaining frame.
• Disconnect electrical harness connector, to do so, press catch - 3  - and turn retaining bracket in - arrow B  -.

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Install glove compartment → 68 - Interior Equipment Removal And Installation .
