Removing 

• With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire → Battery, disconnecting and connecting .
• Remove right front wheel.

• Remove heat shield - arrow  - for right drive axle.

• Disconnect electrical wires - 3  - and - 4  - on starter.
• Remove bolts - 1  - and - 2  - and remove starter.

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
