Energy Management Control Module J644, removing and installing

Removing 

NOTE:
  • While removing and installing, no charger must be connected.
  • If control module is replaced, select "Guided Functions" of respective control module in.
  • With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire → Battery, disconnecting and connecting .

Installing 

When installing, always heed the following sequence, otherwise proper function of Energy Management Control Module J644 cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Install ground (GND) wire 1 to battery on Energy Management Control Module J644.
  2. Screw Energy Management Control Module J644 4 on to body, tighten ground (GND) pin 2 and cap nut 5 to do so.
  3. Connect ground (GND) wire to battery.
  4. Connect electrical harness connector 3 to Energy Management Control Module J644.
  5. Perform necessary steps after connecting battery.

If Energy Management Control Module J644 was replaced, it must be coded.

to chassis Nut 20
Ground (GND) wire to control module 9
