Navigation system operating unit in center console, assembly overview

1 - Recess

2 - Clamp

• Only for vehicles with center armrest.

3 - Mounting frame

• Removing 

• Remove navigation system operating unit with cigarette lighter - 5  - or tray with cigarette lighter - 6  -.
• Remove center console - 7  - → Center console, assembly overview .
• Turn center console over.
• Remove two bolts - 4  - on mounting frame - 3  -.

• Remove mounting frame - 3  - from recess - 1  -.

4 - Bolts (2x)

• Tightening torque 2 Nm

5 - Navigation system operating unit with cigarette lighter

• Removing 

• Apply parking brake firmly.
• Pry out cover underneath parking brake lever :
• Reach into opening below the parking brake lever and press navigation system operating unit with cigarette lighter out of center console - 7  - from below.

6 - Tray with cigarette lighter

• Removing 

• Apply parking brake firmly.
• Pry out cover underneath parking brake lever :
• Reach into opening below parking brake lever and press tray with cigarette lighter out of center console - 7  - from below.
