Seat heating element (sports seat), replacing

• Remove seat → Seat, assembly overview .
• Remove backrest → Front seat backrest, assembly overview .

• Remove cover and padding from seat pan → Seat pan cover and padding (sports seat), assembly overview .
• Cut area - A  - out of old heating element - 1  -.
• Pull out cable - 2  -.
• Cut off cables - 4  - (2x) at positions - B  - (4x).

• Align heating elements - 1  - on the seat cushion, remove the protective film and bond the heating elements firmly onto the padded surfaces.
• Insert cable - 2  - into the intended gap - 3  -.
• The connecting cables must be laid without crossing in the bottom of the gaps at positions - 4  -.
