Hose Connections With Connector Couplings, Assembling

CAUTION:

The seal could be damaged if the securing clip is in the locked position during installation. A damaged seal can leak.

Follow the assembly instructions.

Removing

-- Release connector coupling by pulling locking clip -arrow-. Separate the air ducts without using tools.

Installing

-- If the seal is replaced, place it in the groove on the air guide hose.

The seal must sit in the groove all the way around and must not be twisted.

-- Lubricate the sealing surfaces and the seal.

-- Bring the securing clip into the release position -1-.

-- Slide the air duct into the connector as far as the stop.

-- Bring the securing clip into the locked position -2- and press the air duct back.

-- Pull on the air duct to make sure the connector is seated and locked correctly.
