Rear Lid Lock

1. Rear Lid Adjustor
   • Remove together with mounting plate -3-.
   • Removal Fig 3.
2. Operating Rod
   • To remove, swing out pivot lever -8- at rear lid lock -6- and disengage operating rod from rear lid lock.
   • When disassembling, remove actuator first.
3. Mounting Plate
   • Remove with actuator.
   • Operating rod disengaged at lid lock.
   • Loosen bolts -4- and slide mounting plate with actuator out of oblong holes.
   • Feed actuator with mounting plate and operating rod out of rear lid.
4. Screw
   • 1.7 Nm
   • Secures mounting plate to rear lid.
   • Only loosen bolts when disassembling.
5. Bolt
   • Secures actuator to mounting plate.
   • 1.1.7 Nm
6. Rear Lid Lock
   • Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to Removal and Installation
   • Removal Fig 2.
7. Lock Cover
   • When assembling, cover must engage audibly into lid lock.
8. Lever
   • To remove, pivot operating rod -2- 90° and disengage operating rod.
9. Release Element
   • Inserted sideways on lock lever.

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel.

-- Operating rod to actuator removed.

-- Remove nuts -3- and remove lid lock -2- from lid -1-.

-- When installing, tighten nuts to 21 Nm.

-- Disconnect electrical connections.

-- Operating rod -2- disengaged at lid lock.

-- Loosen bolts -5- and slide actuator -1- with mounting plate -3- out of oblong holes in rear lid.

-- Remove actuator with mounting plate -3- from lid.

-- Remove screws -4- and remove actuator.

-- To remove, pivot operating rod -2- 90° out of clip in opposite direction of -arrow-.

-- When installing, insert operating rod into actuator.

-- Pivot operating rod 90° in direction of -arrow-.

-- Operating rod must engage securely into actuator clip.
