Backrest Heating Element, Removing and Installing

NOTE:

Backrest heating element of center section is riveted to cover. If heating element is malfunctioning, cover must be replaced.

Remove seat → Seat, Removing and Installing .
Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
Remove the backrest → Front Backrest, Removing and Installing .

Remove cover and cushion of backrest → Front Seat Covers and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats .
Replace cover with backrest heating element.
