Perform installation in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
NOTE:
- New oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste; the paste must not get into the slots on the oxygen sensor body.
- When re-installing a used oxygen sensor, coat the threads with hot bolt paste . This paste must not come into contact with the slots on the oxygen sensor body.
- During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.
- Wires of oxygen sensors must always be secured in the same position when installing so that contact with the exhaust pipe is avoided.
- Install engine → 10 - ENGINE - ASSEMBLY .
