Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39- (before catalytic converter, right front), removing and installing: Removing

NOTE:

• All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

• Separate electrical connector - 1  - for Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor -G70-.
• Disconnect air duct hose - 4  - at intake manifold.
• Unhook retainer for connections - 2  - and - 3  - at upper part of air filter housing.
• Remove bolts - arrows  -.

• Remove upper part of right air filter housing.

• Remove air duct - 1  -.
• Remove the bolts - arrows  -.
• Remove lower part of right air filter housing.

• Separate electrical connector - 8  - for Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39-.

NOTE:

• Disregard the other items in the illustration.

• Expose electrical wiring to oxygen sensor.

• Remove Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39- - arrow 2  - using ring spanner set 3337.
