Removing

Installing

For problem-free operation of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor -G70- it is very important to observe the following notes and procedures.

NOTE:
  • If the air filter element is very dirty or soaked, dirt particles or moisture may have contaminated the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor -G70- and may be causing false mass air flow values. This leads to reduced performance, since a lower injection quantity is calculated.
  • Always use a genuine air filter element.
  • Use a lubricant (silicone-free) for installing the intake hose.
  • Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type

Further installation is performed in reverse order.
