Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pumps, removing and installing

Removing 

• Activate vehicle lifting mode → 43 - Self Leveling Suspension .
• Remove left front wheel.

• For vehicles with auxiliary heater, remove bolts - arrows  - for exhaust pipe of auxiliary heater on sound insulation.

• Loosen quick-release fasteners - 1  - and remove front sound insulation.
• Remove front part of left front wheelhouse liner → 66 - EXTERIOR EQUIPMENT .

• Pull left air intake grille out of bumper - arrows  -.

• Separate electrical connectors - 1  - and - 5  -.
• Disconnect hoses - 2  - , - 3  - , - 6  - and - 7  - at secondary air injection pumps - 4  - and - 8  - by pressing release buttons.
• Remove bolts and remove secondary air injection pumps from bracket.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Deactivate vehicle lifting mode → 43 - Self Leveling Suspension .
