Left exhaust manifold with catalytic converters, removing and installing: Removing

Engine/transmission unit removed and attached to scissor lift platform VAS 6131.

NOTE:

All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.

1 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 3 G285 , (6-pin, black)

2 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 4 G286 , (6-pin, brown)

3 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 3 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) G287 , (4-pin, green)

6 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 4 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) G288 , (4-pin, gray)

NOTE:

To disconnect electrical connectors - 3 - and - 6 - , unclip bracket for connectors from air filter housing and turn over (shown in close-up).
Disregard the other items in the illustration.

Remove bolts - arrows - and pivot bracket for left exhaust manifolds with catalytic converters downward.

Unscrew nuts - 1 to 4 - and remove left exhaust manifold with catalytic converters.
