Power Steering Pump Ribbed Belt Drive, Generator and Air Conditioning, Assembly Overview

1 - Ribbed belt

• Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or felt-tip marker. Reversing direction of rotation of a run-in belt can damage belt
• Removing and installing → Ribbed Belt, Removing and Installing 
• Check for wear

2 - 23 Nm

3 - Generator

• Removing and installing → 27 - BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL

4 - Cap for right idler roller

5 - Right idler roller for ribbed belt

• Tighten to 32 Nm

6 - 23 Nm

7 - Tensioning spring for tensioning roller

• With hydraulic damper
• Installed location: lettering "TOP" faces up

8 - 8 Nm

9 - Belt pulley for coolant pump

10 - 10 Nm

11 - Coolant pump

• Removing and installing → Coolant Pump, Removing and Installing 

12 - Cap for left idler roller

13 - Left idler roller for ribbed belt

• Tighten to 32 Nm

14 - Tensioning roller with relay lever

15 - Alignment bushing

• 2 pieces

16 - Bracket for air conditioning compressor

• After replacing, check alignment of power steering pump pulley and air conditioning compressor pulley → Power Steering Pump Belt Pulley and Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Pulley, Checking Alignment 

17 - 23 Nm

18 - Fitting sleeves

• 2 pieces

19 - Air conditioner compressor

• Removing and installing → 87 - AIR CONDITIONING

20 - Alignment bushing

• 2 pieces

21 - Bracket for power steering pump

• After replacing, check alignment of power steering pump pulley and air conditioning compressor pulley → Power Steering Pump Belt Pulley and Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Pulley, Checking Alignment 

22 - 23 Nm

23 - 32 Nm

24 - Power steering pump

• Removing and installing → 48 - Steering
• After replacing, check alignment of power steering pump pulley and air conditioning compressor pulley → Power Steering Pump Belt Pulley and Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Pulley, Checking Alignment 

25 - Shim

• Various thicknesses
• After changing power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump bracket, air conditioning compressor bracket or upper part of oil pan, check alignment of power steering pump and air conditioning compressor pulleys → Power Steering Pump Belt Pulley and Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Pulley, Checking Alignment 

26 - Belt pulley for power steering pump

27 - 23 Nm

28 - 23 Nm

29 - 25 Nm

30 - 32 Nm plus ¹ /₄ turn (90)

• Replace

31 - Vibration damper

• With belt pulley for ribbed belt
• Removing and installing → Vibration Damper, Removing and Installing 

32 - 100 Nm plus ¹ /₄ turn (90)

• Replace
• Use counter-holder T10069 to loosen and tighten
