ATF cooler bracket (vehicles with V8 4.2L FSI engine), removing and installing

Removing

Remove front sound insulation by loosening fasteners - 1 -.

NOTE:

Ignore - 2, 3, 4 -.

Free up secondary air injection (AIR) air guide hose - 1 - on ATF cooler bracket.
Remove bolts - arrows - and remove ATF cooler with hoses connected.

Remove bolts - 7 - and remove ATF cooler bracket - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

NOTE:

Rubber buffers are secured on installation points at top of bracket. They must be checked for correct seating and replaced if necessary before installation.
