Luggage Compartment Side Trim, Removing and Installing

1 - Side luggage compartment trim

• Removing 

• Remove luggage compartment floor mat → Luggage Compartment Liner, Removing and Installing .
• Remove rear cross panel trim → Rear Cross Panel Trim, Removing and Installing .
• Open upper fasteners - 2  -.
• Remove storage compartment - 3  -.

• Remove power outlet → Luggage Compartment Power Outlet, Removing and Installing .
• Flip tie-downs - 4  - (4x) upward.
• Remove the two phillips-head screws - 5  - in tie-downs.
• Unclip clips - 10  -.

• Remove luggage compartment side trim.

• Installing 

Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

• After installation has been completed, pull tailgate rubber over side luggage compartment trim - 1  -.

2 - Upper fastener (2x)

• For storage compartment - 3  -

3 - Storage compartment

4 - Tie-downs

• Removing and Installing → Tie-Downs, Removing and Installing 

5 - Screw, 5 Nm

• 2 each per tie-down

6 - Spring nut (3x)

• Replace after each disassembly

7 - Rain channel trim

• Separating rain channel trim from side luggage compartment trim and joining → Luggage Compartment Side Trim and Rain Channel Trim, Separating and Connecting 

8 - Cover cap

• Clipped out and in

9 - Lower fastener

• Locks to side luggage compartment trim

10 - Clips (qty. 2)

• Replace if damaged

11 - Ventilation grille

• Removing and Installing → Ventilation Grille, Removing and Installing
