Rear Backrest Cover and Upholstery, Separating from Backrest Frame

- Removing
- Remove rear seat bench → Rear Bench Seat, Removing and Installing .
- Remove rear seat backrest → Rear Backrest, Removing and Installing .
- Remove headrest → Headrests, Removing and Installing .
- Remove headrest guides → Headrest Guides, Backrest Removed, Removing .
- Use a screwdriver to pry out retaining strips - 1 - all around.
- Pull the cover - 7 - down over the bracket - 6 -.
- Turn back cover - 7 - in area of side airbag - 2 -.
- Unzip - 3 - protective cover of side airbag - 4 -.
- Remove protective cover for side airbag - 4 - through opening in cushion - 5 -.
- Remove cover and cushion from backrest frame.
- Installing
- Install cover and upholstery in reverse order of removal.
- Close the zip fastener on the side airbag protective cover using the pliers for rear side airbag, Audi VAS 6273.
