Exhaust manifold (right side), removing and installing: Installing
Install in reverse sequence; note following points:
NOTE:
- Always replace gaskets, seals and self-locking nuts.
- All cable ties which are opened or cut open on removal must be replaced in same position when installing.
- Remove any traces of oil or grease on hose connections and hoses for charge air system before installing. Do not apply lubricant.
- Secure all hose connections with correct hose clamps. See parts catalog.
- Tighten exhaust manifold nuts diagonally starting from center.
- Install temperature sensor for exhaust temperature sensor so that connection piece points downward. The wire is routed upward in a loop.
- Install right turbocharger and align. See RIGHT TURBOCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Install front right exhaust pipe. See FRONT EXHAUST PIPE (RIGHT), REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Fill with engine oil.
- Install engine. See ENGINE, INSTALLING .
