Charge air system with turbocharger, testing: Notes

NOTE:
  • Observe rules for cleanliness. See RULES FOR CLEANLINESS .
  • Hose unions and hoses for charge air system must be free of oil and grease before installing. Do not use lubricant under any circumstances.
  • Secure all hose connections with correct hose clamps (same as original equipment) See parts catalog.
  • Before carrying out tests or repair work, make sure that all lines and hoses are securely connected and that there are no leaks.
