Consumption signal, checking (engine at powertrain CAN-bus): Notes

NOTE:
  • On some engines, the consumption signal is transferred from the Engine Control Module (ECM) to the instrument cluster via the powertrain CAN-bus.
  • Malfunctions in the communication between Engine Control Module (ECM) and instrument cluster can only be detected via On Board Diagnostic (OBD) (DTC 01312 and 01314).
