Note for ATF-temperature:

A recognized temperature of minus 50° C (122° F) indicates a short circuit to Ground (GND),
A recognized temperature of 180° C (356° F) indicates a short circuit to plus (B+) or open circuit.

Note to intermediate positions:

If the selector lever is shifted to the indicated intermediate positions, the scan tool will display "Z1", "Z2", "Z3" or "Z4". The display in the instrument cluster must not show the selected position, only PRND432 without a range being illuminated.

Note to display field 4 of display group number 004:

The engine intervention is only activated during shifting. The engine intervention can only be very briefly activated depending on the driving situation. This means that the relative slow data transmission to the V.A.G 1551 scan tool can neglect this brief engine intervention under certain driving conditions.

Note to display group number 013:

Display field 2 and 4: When replacing the ECM, the display must be the same for the old and the new ECM. If not, the wrong ECM was installed or it was incorrectly coded.
