DTC table for tire pressure monitoring
NOTE:
- The following table lists all DTCs that can be recognized by the control module and printed out by the V.A.G 1551. The DTCs are listed in order according to their 5-figure code numbers.
- DTCs appear only on print-out.
- Before replacing a component shown as faulty, check wiring and connections to component as well as ground connections according to current flow diagram.
- After completing repair and checking function of system, always check DTC memory once again with Scan tool V.A.G 1551 and erase memory.
- The DTC memory records all static and sporadic DTCs. If a malfunction occurs and persists for at least 2 seconds, it is identified as a static malfunction. If malfunction does not occur again it is registered as a sporadic malfunction. "ISP" appears on the right of the display.
- When ignition is switched on, all existing DTCs are automatically reclassified as sporadic DTCs and will only register as static DTCs if they still occur after testing.
- Sporadic DTCs which no longer occur after 50 driving cycles (ignition on for at least 5 minutes, road speed of 30 km/h) are erased automatically.
