Fuel pump delivery rate, checking: Checking

- Connect remote control. See FUEL PUMP, CHECKING .
- Remove return line at fuel pressure regulator.
- Attach auxiliary hose, Part No. 8A0 201 351, to fuel pressure regulator and hold opposite end in measuring beaker.
- Actuate remote control to operate fuel pump continuously for 15 seconds.
- Compare fuel delivery rate to specified values in FUEL DELIVERY RATE SPECIFICATIONS table.

NOTE:
After each test, approx. 3 liters (3/4 gal.) of fuel must be added to the fuel tank through the fuel filler.
