Mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data: Notes

The following functions are performed in this diagnostic mode:

All emission relevant malfunctions in DTC memory will be erased.
The operating conditions at which a malfunction was stored will be reset. See MODE 2: CHECKING OPERATING CONDITIONS .
All adaptation values will be reset.
All test results of the diagnostic functions of control module will be reset.
