Work procedure

- Connect diagnostic tester. See CONNECT DIAGNOSTIC TESTER .
- In diagnostic function "33 - OBD", select "Mode 2: Check operating conditions."
- Select the desired operating condition via the following table according to the PID (Parameter Identification), e.g. "PID 05: Cooling fluid temperature".
NOTE:
- Bank 1 = cylinder bank 1 in direction of travel, right; Bank 2 = cylinder bank 2 in direction of travel, left.
- Measuring values of Engine Control Module (ECM) are displayed under "10 - Engine electronics" and measuring values of Transmission Control Module (TCM) are displayed under "1A - Transmission electronics".

- Repair stored malfunction(s) according to DTC table:
