Removing and installing rear window

Lightly pry locking plate -1- using small screwdriver and slide it out of groove on guide pin -4-. See Fig 1 .
Remove backing plate -2-.
Lightly pry door glass from guide pin and remove from vehicle downward.
NOTE: Guide pin will simultaneously push buffer pad out of door window guide.
Remove damper washer -3-. See Fig 1 .
When installing, align slot in door window so it is centered relative to guide pin -4-; pay attention to contact area on roof frame and at C-pillar.
NOTE: The buffer plug helps seal the window and minimize noise. It must be reinserted in the door window guide at the B-pillar after installing the door window.
