Removing and installing front window

Lightly pry locking plate -1- using small screwdriver and slide out of groove on guide pin -4-.
Remove backing plate -2-.
Lightly pry door window glass from guide pin and remove from vehicle downward.
NOTE: Guide pin will simultaneously push buffer plugs out of door window guide.
Remove damper washer -3-.
When installing, align slot in door window so that it is centered relative to guide pin -4-.
Pay attention to contact area on roof frame and at A-pillar.

NOTE: The buffer plug helps seal window and minimize noise. It must be reinserted in the door window guide at the B-pillar after installing the door window.
