Test requirements:

• Use wiring diagram to check that fuses are OK.
• Connect the vehicle diagnosis, measurement and information system VAS 5051 or Scan tool V.A.G 1551. See VAG1551 SCAN TOOL (ST), CONNECTING AND ENTERING ADDRESS WORD  .
• Switch ignition on.

• Switch on printer with the Print button (indicator light in button lights up).
• Press button -1- for "Rapid data transfer" mode.

Indicated on display:

Address word for tire pressure monitoring: 65 

• Press buttons -6- and -5-.

Indicated on display:

• Confirm entry with -Q- button.
• The display will indicate the following after approximately 5 seconds:
