Rear door handle, removing and installing

NOTE: The following list refers to Fig 1 .

Mount for door handle
- To remove door handle, disengage using an open-end wrench
Locating pin
- When installing, be sure securing spring reaches completely around hinge arm
Hinge arm
Clip
- When removing door handle -5- unclip operating rod here

Door handle
Removing:
- Removed door trim and component carrier.
- Unclip operating rod at hinge arm. See OPERATING RODS FOR REAR DOOR LOCK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Using a small screwdriver, carefully release locking mechanism (arrow -A-) for slide by lifting upward lightly.
- Using an open-ended wrench, turn cams -6- in direction of arrow -B- thereby disengaging the slide.
Cams
- To disengage mount for door handle
