NOTE:

• For vehicles with Part Number beginning with index letter "M" measured value of outside air temperature sensor -G17- is evaluated by instrument cluster, measured value is determined by Can-Bus on the -E87-. If the instrument cluster can not supply requested information due to a component malfunction, a malfunction notice with data gram is sent, which requires the DTC memory be read.
• Indicator in display of driver information system shows outside temperature (stored lower temperature value) can deviate from the temperature indicated in the display field 1 (instantaneous temperature value). See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
• Reception of information from instrument cluster is indicated in measuring value block display group 012. See DISPLAY GROUP 012: INFORMATION ON CAN-BUS FOR CONTROL HEAD HAVING PART NUMBERS BEGINNING WITH THE INDEX LETTER "M"  .
