Electric lumbar adjustment, removing and installing

NOTE: The following list refers to Fig 1.
  1. Lumbar adjustment unit 
    • Removing:
      • Remove back rest. See REAR SEATBACK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
      • Remove upholstery from rear seatback.
      • Disengage loop -7-.
      • Fold cover -10- down.
      • Bend open tabs at top -9- and bottom.
      • Disengage brackets -8- and -5-.
      • Separate bracket -6- from lumbar adjustment unit -1-.
      • Remove spring clip to hinge from transmission of motor for vertical lumbar adjustment.
      • Remove spring clip at lumbar adjustment unit -1- from shaft -2- and remove shaft from lumbar adjustment unit -1-.
    • Installing:
      • Center lumbar adjustment unit -1- to mounting strap of rear seatback.
  2. Shaft for lumbar height adjustment 
  3. Motor for vertical lumbar adjustment 
  4. Motor for lumbar height adjustment 
  5. Bracket 
  6. Bracket 
  7. Loop 
    • 2x
  8. Bracket 
  9. Strap 
    • 2x
  10. Cover
