Motors and sensor for height and length adjuster, removing and installing: Notes
- Front and rear seat height adjuster in highest position
- Seat removed
NOTE:
- To remove length adjustment malfunction, move seat mechanically forward and back. See MECHANICAL SEAT, MOVING FORWARD AND BACK .
- With seat removed motors for height adjustment can be connected directly to a voltage source. Disconnect connector to motor.
- Voltage should not be applied to control module for control module for seat adjustment with memory.
- If seat cannot be moved up due to faulty motor for height adjustment, cut through affected driveshaft using a cutter (seat uncovered) and remove motor. Replace separated driveshaft.
