Work procedure

Remove front seat. See FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Electrical wiring -2- and -3- removed from connector -4-. See Fig 1.
Disconnect connectors -1-.
Pull out connecting wire -5- with VAS1978 from connector housing -6-.
Remove wiring from seat frame.

Remove screws -1- and -2- left and right.

Remove console for control module. See CONTROL MODULE FOR SEAT ADJUSTMENT WITH MEMORY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
