Electric mirror adjusting unit, replacing
NOTE:
On vehicles equipped with mirror memory, electric adjusting unit cannot be replaced individually.
- Switch ignition off.
- Remove mirror lens. See MIRROR LENS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Remove screws -1- (3x).
- Remove electric adjusting unit -2-.
- Remove cover -1- from electric adjusting unit -2-.
- Cut through electrical wiring close to soldered connections (arrows).

Adjusting unit replacement parts:
- Adjusting unit
- Harness connectors
- Harness connector housing
- Attach electrical wires to plug housing included with replacement parts.
- Harness connector wire 1: red
- Harness connector wire 2: brown/white
- Harness connector wire 3: white
NOTE: Arrow points to chamfer on harness connector housing.
Tightening torque: 1 Nm (9 in. lb)
