Front window regulator, removing and installing
- Front door trim removed
NOTE:
The following list refers to Fig 1

- Front window regulator
- To remove, drill off rivet heads -2- and knock out rivet shafts
- Securely rivet window at point designated by arrow first
- Pop rivet (6x)
- To avoid contact corrosion, use only genuine Audi rivets
- Door component carrier
- Removing and installing. See item 3 in DOOR SHELL AND DOOR COMPONENT CARRIER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Window regulator motor
- After installing, run window up until impact.
- Activate all power window switches ("up") for at least one second to activate automatic window raising/lowering.
- Bolts (3x)
- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
- Clip
- Engage window regulator -1- in clip and close clip (arrow)
- Guide pin
- Damper washer
- Backing plate
- Locking plate
