Tire change

The nickel plated valve stem insert must be replaced every time the tires are changed.

The metal valve stem and the wheel electronics can be used again.

• Release tire air by removing nickel plated valve stem insert.
• Dismounting tire: See DISMOUNTING TIRE  .

Visually check for loose or damaged parts. Replace complete valve stem if the threaded connections are loose.

Always replace damaged wheel electronics.

• Mounting tire: See MOUNTING TIRE  .
• Thread in new nickel plated valve stem insert.
• Inflate tire, reattach plastic cap.
• Balance tire.
