Rear seatback, removing and installing: Removing
CAUTION:

- Remove front seat. See FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Remove trim for seatframe, outer. See SEAT FRAME TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Remove trim for seatframe interior. See INNER SEAT FRAME TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Loosen seatback cover, lower from seatframe.
- Remove screws -1- and - 6- (45 Nm/33 ft.lb.). See Fig 1.
- Install compensating bushing -2- only on the left side.
- Spacer washer -4- is installed on the left and right side.
- Loosen cable mounting and tie wrap at seat.
- Remove electrical wiring -2- and -3- from connector -4-. See Fig 2.
- Disconnect electrical wire -1-.
- Pull out connecting wire -5- with VAS1978 from connector housing -6-.
- Remove wiring from seat frame.
