Hat shelf, removing and installing
NOTE:

- Hat shelf
- Removing:
- Loosen lower mounting of three-point seat belt left and right. See appropriate Air Bag Restraint Systems article in Restraints.
- Remove rear seatback or individual seat rear. See REAR SEATBACK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING or ELECTRICALLY ADJUSTABLE INDIVIDUAL SEATS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Clip cover for belt guide -6- and -10- off.
- Pry out covers (left and right) at tab -7- and -11- at belt height adjustment -5- and -12-. See appropriate Air Bag Restraint Systems article in Restraints.
- Remove expanding clips -2-.
- Unclip power sunshade cover -8- if vehicle is so equipped.
- Slide foam sleeve -4- back and separate connectors -3- for sunshade and 3rd brake light.
- Vehicles with power sunshade -9-:
- Remove mounting nuts in luggage compartment
- Raise shade box so screws are released from hatshelf.
- Pull hat shelf forward slightly toward center of vehicle out of guides (arrows) and remove.
